The show basically picks up from where they would have left off
two years ago. And yes, a lot has changed since then. Let's go
over the recap of The Game season 4 premiere. Derwin and Mlanie
are now two years married with Melanie being a housewife and a
step-mom to Derwin's son. If you remember, she spent the
previous few seasons studying to become a doctor. Of course, she
has some suspicion that Derwin's son isn't really his so she
decides to get a DNA test behind his back
He eventually gets caught by his friend Terrence who walks in on
Malik in a Jacuzzi with the owner's girlfriend and Terrence's
girlfriend. Lastly, the ongoing battle between Jason and Kelly
continue. They just got out of their divorce and they spend the
entire episode trying to get each other even more upset. Man,
you have got to love how The Game season 4 premiere kicked off
and I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoyed it. If you didn't
get a chance to watch The Game season 4 episode 1 on BET, I
think they will be playing encore airings. You can also watch it

Despite a cancellation, fans figured out how to play "The Game."
After outcry over the former CW series being canceled in 2009,
BET decided to bring the show back with new episodes starting
tonight. For those unfamiliar with it, "The Game" is a spin-off
of another former popular African-American sitcom,
"Girlfriends." Both were created by writer Mara Brock Akil and
both were the subject of major disappointment among their fans
upon cancellation. The ensemble cast includes former "Sister,
Sister" star Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall and Wendy Raquel Robinson.
The show centers around a group of fictional football players
and the women in their lives.
When reruns of the show proved wildly popular, the cable network
struck a deal to produce new episodes and return the cast
intact. Now "The Game" begins anew with several provocative
developments. Melanie (Tia Mowry Hardict), the adorable former
med student, suspects that the son her husband, Derwin (Pooch
Hall), had with another woman may not really be his. Meanwhile,
reckless San Diego Sabers quarterback Malik (Hosea Chanchez) is
sleeping with the wife of the team owner, and sports agent Tasha
(Wendy Raquel Robinson) is having no-strings-attached sex with a
younger man. Then there's Jason (Coby Bell) and Kelly (Brittany
Daniel), who continue to feud following a turbulent divorce.
