When the Pritchett, Delgado and Dunphy families agree to be interviewed by a documentary crew, they have no idea just how much they’re about to reveal about themselves. Jay Pritchett met the stunning Columbian Gloria while she worked bartending in a bikini at the pool party he threw for himself the day his wife left him. Now Jay and Gloria are married and Jay tries hard to keep up with his much younger and hotter wife and her passionate teenage son, Manny. Claire Delgado (Julie Bowen) is having a rough raising her own family. Her husband Phil is wonderful, except for the fact that he thinks he’s “down” with their teenage kids, much to their embarrassment. Mitchell Dunphy and his enthusiastic partner Cameron have just adopted Lily, a little baby girl from Vietnam. This engaging new comedy offers a ‘mockumentary’ view into the complicated, messy, loving life of three unique families. Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd take you into the sometimes warm and sometimes twisted embrace of modern day families.
Phil and Claire had a huge fight and Phil hasn't a clue as to what it was over, so Gloria steps in to counsel Phil and Jay takes Claire. Meanwhile, Jay may have some regret in buying Gloria a karaoke machine, and Cameron is in full prep mode for a huge fundraising event and enlists help from Mitchell and Luke which might not be the best choices.
Set to be aired this coming February 23, 2011, Modern Family Season 2 Episode 16 – Regrets Only is going to continue the previous accounts in which Phil, considered by Claire, made a serious mistake by inviting her mom who happens to have her high school sweetheart.
Meanwhile, in the war between the couple, Jay and Gloria come in between to mediate the rage and alleviate the heat. Is this really how serious the war between the couple?
